I have an announcement to make, I made my first purchase from Lush on Saturday! It was a momentous occasion and one that I did not take lightly! I have been reading reviews of Lush products here for several months and liked what I had heard but on the only occasion I had braved inside the door I was overwhelmed with the choice and left empty handed. However on Saturday I went in with a purpose and came out with that product "Sweet Japanese Girl". So here is my first ever Lush review.

keep coming up to us during the meal to repeatedly ask if everything was all right with the food (as happens in quite a few restaurants which can be quite intrusive). But even saying all that, it was very easy to catch the eye of a staff member if we needed anything. I get very frustrated in some restaurants where the staff don?t even look in your direction so it?s impossible to get their attention without going up to the counter to ask them for something. This was not the case in Fagins Diner ? the staff really do deserve a pat on the back for being so amenable!
From what I understand this is a very popular place for local people to dine before they go out for the evening in the evening, they have a full bar and due to the food being so reasonably priced I guess it would be popular to have a cheap bite and saving the rest of your money ...

Sweet Japanese Girl is a cleansing bar from Lush, the handmade cosmetics company (I do so love the cool names they give their products!).
This is such an unusual concept!
Basically Sweet Japanese Girl is a 2 inch diameter piece of cocoa butter containing essential oils. It is in the shape of a really cute Japanese face (hence the name). They are apparently handmade in a Japanese sweetmeat mould, with its chubby cheeks representing beauty. Noriko, a Japanese Lush skincare specialist helped to develop the Sweet Japanese Girl for Lush.
