Yunnan Province - Meet the minorities here
Review of China in general by dance

Advantages: Ethnic minorities
Disadvantages: Toilets are dirty but this is the same everywhere in China

...tell you this. Toilets in China are very very dirty + smelly and DO NOT GO unless you really need to. There were a few times when I nearly vomited due to the strong smell. One thing about Chinese toilets that I don't understand is why people throw toilet papers in the bin next to the toilet instead of flushing them down the toilet. It's all these toilet papers in the bin that caused the smell and even if you could go in without breathing, you would ...
...the biggest Chinese group in China and they have influenced the minorities a lot causing them to slowly shift away from their traditions. However, the Bai people in XiZhou still wear their Bai traditional costume and speak their language. In the evening, we drove to Lijiang, the World Heritage Town and home of Naxi people. It's about 4 hours and there's no highway between these two towns. All the way it was single lane which was quite dangerous. ... Read review

In Search of Chinese Heritage
Review of General: XiŽan by heeheehaahaa

Advantages: Rich Chinese Heritage & Great Food!
Disadvantages: Dusty & Many People Smoke

If you are in search of Chinese heritage, Xian is a good place to visit. We start off by riding the bus from hong kong to shenzhen airport. There is a restaurant next to KFC. So we walked in to order some drinks before the flight took off. We were surprised to find out that the price for a cold drink is $38 RMB! It is even more expensive than starbucks. it is ridiculous. During the journey on the flight, we were amused by the aeroplane meal. They ...
...wrapped box. The paper box contained a couple of longan fruits, a piece of cake, a bag of biscuit, a bag of salty veggie, the aluminium foil wrapped box was beef stew with rice. The plastic utensil is with sharp edges. This meal set was a very good example of "what not to have in the aeroplane meal". Longan has seeds, utensil has sharp edges, the rice box is hot, the cake package is filled with a lot of air. I have a hard time trying to figure out ... Read review

Classical Chinese Garden
Review of Lou Lim Ioc Gardens (Macau) by heeheehaahaa

Advantages: A Chinese Garden Classic
Disadvantages: A Chinese Garden Classic

...built by a wealthy merchant Lou Kau. Before the government bought the property in 1974, it was the private property of the Lou's family. It was the Soochow style garden. A nine-turn bridge zigzags across the lotus pond to a large pavilion combining Classical Chinese architecture elements. There are many rock mountains, bamboo trees and seasonal flowers. Occasionally you will find locals practising the Chinese Music Instrument performance and Chinese ...
