Despite this I would highly recommend China Garden to anyone who, like me, is a fan of Chinese food but is fed up with the general disappontment of the Noble House.

Advantages: Easy to get a table, great food Disadvantages: Wine list not up to much
...will be disappointed though: the house white is palatable enough but the wine list itself is rather lack-lustre.

..., from the highlights of the must see Black Gang Chine, to the Peaceful walks through Shanklin ChineGardens.
'Lower Hyde Holiday Park' is situated on the outskirts of Shanklin, and a short walk from the nearest sandy beach and a beautiful old village. It is perfectly placed in the midst of a vast woodland, (yet please don't be mistaken in thinking that you are in the middle of a forest - more a beautiful countryside), and has pleanty of walks avaliable close to hand.
Although there are many attractions nearby, we found it benificial to have a car to travel around the island to even more fantastic attractions.
******Campsite Overview******

Advantages: Hot, not too commercialised but still plenty to see and do Disadvantages: Rubbish airport!
...of tea. I just hate restaurants/tavernas that have pictures of the food plastered all over the place! Refreshingly though, we never got hassled by waiters/owners waiving menus under our noses and trying to drag us in like you do in a lot of places. Worth a visit, if only to watch all the hustle and bustle of the boats and catamarans coming in and out and to have a wander round the shops (there's LOADS).

There's tons of eateries along the front but if you venture a little further back from the waterfront you'll find some real gems. A place we found called Anna's was brilliant. Also, there's a fantastic Chinese Restaurant (I think it's called the ChinaGarden?) - the setting, service...

...recommend was the ChinaGarden, near to Ladies Beach. Good Chinese food at reasonable prices, and they’ll send a free taxi to pick you up. The toilets here were luxurious, with a bidet, vases of flowers, hair lotion, combs and all sorts of accessories. Noteworthies in the town centre were, both on Saglik Cadesi, the Yucca Restaurant, which serves Chinese, Indian, Tex-Mex and Turkish to appeal to all, and the Kylon, which has a large burger menu as well as a good range of tasty Turkish food.
The hotel we stayed in was located at Ladies Beach, to the South of the town. I would tentatively recommend this as a good area to base yourself, as it’s away from the shops and the port, but has a good selection of bars and restaurants to keep you amused, and with a pint of the local Pils costing 70p you can’t go far wrong. The reason...
