Akti Dimmys - It's so good, they keep coming back!
We've just returned from a fantastic two weeks holiday at Akti Dimmys, Tigaki.
We're a family of four, with two children aged 7 and 13 yrs, and this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we've had.
Akti Dimmys is an ideal base for families, groups or couples to explore Kos and is within easy walking distance to the main centre of Tigaki where there are some great restaurants and good souvenir shopping. There is a small but well stocked "supermarket" 40 metres away for bottled water and other provisions.
Akti Dimmys has a good swimming pool with a shallow pool for young children. 20 metres away across the road is a lovely narrow sandy beach, with spectacular views of the Turkish coastline which is only 8 miles away.

O-kay, so I don't wish to be tainted on my opinion of this film by the excellence of the prequel, but simply put, Batman Returns is not as good as the original.
Standing on its own, I would say this film was still good. Again, an atmosphere of darkness is woven over Gotham City. Great performances by Michael Keaton (Batman) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Selina Scott/Cat Woman), with a good turn by bad guys Danny deVito (Penguin) and Christopher Walken (Clamp). The storyline revolves around the mayoral elections of Gotham City - the aforementioned all being main players in this. Humour and dry one-liners are mixed in to excellent action sequences - I particularly like the Circus Posse!
I think the main downfall of this film is that it centres too much around the super-villans, and poor old Batsy is left on the sidelines somewhat. If anything ...

The Chryssi Akti Hotel is a walking distance from the main shops, cafes and restaurants. Recently renovated, the hotel provides a modern interior for its guests. Equipped with a swimming pool and situated in a central location, the Chryssi Akti is close to all the main services needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The hotel is easily accessible by taxi or bus from the port. The bus stops, with request, right outside of the hotel.
