it would be a pretty dull and morbid thing in england if you were to spend your days on holiday in cemetaries, but here it is an absolute must. the place is so quiet in comparison with the hecic life that goes on around it. inside you will see the graves of some very famous people - oscar wilde who was forced to flee england because of his conviction for homosexuality - his grave is now a shrine covered in lipstick kisses - the great mates of french literature la fontaine and moliere are buried side by side. the most popular grave is that of jim morrison from the doors who has now turned into a saint. the place is guarded most of the time and filled with people on drugs but it still warrants a visit.
