The cineworld in Bradford has been open for some time now along with a Hollywood bowl and a few resturants. When i first went i was greeted with a load of people smoking cannbis outside the doors... but once i went inside it was quite impressive when you first enter like all icneworlds it looks quite nice and theres a nice smell of pop corn. The first impression as long as you go in quiet times is very good.

Getting there

Cineworld is very easy to locate here most people know where if you have to ask someone. Its just behind the Interchange. Parking was free till "now" in a secure multi-storey. YOu got a card when entering and when paying for a movie got it scanned but apprently now you have to pay to park... which is an around £2 :-(

Before Watching a movie

Finding a movie to watch is quite simple the ovious way is from reviews or websites. Withing cineworld theres often many posters around as to what may interest you. A good feature i like is when your outside theres a banner thing that tells you what movie is on soon. When you enter to que there are boards clearly marked with what movies are on, when and age classification.

Staff are usually nice when paying although a few times they have been very "bad"! and threw one of my friends out from the que and told us all to leave even though we did nothing (my friend was being loud apprently) there is an air of racism there in my opinion. If your a student you get a discount by showing your student card last time i went it was £4.40 rather than the £6. Also ton tuesdays prices are cheaper for all.

Once you pay there are a few things to do whilst waiting for your movie to show, these include buying food/drink and playing on arcade game machines. The games machines are hardly ever popular as there £1 a go! same with the ice cream which is very pricey. Popcorn and drinks are okay and there are often offers. I usually get the Jumbo which includes a big drink and a big popcorn for around £7.
During the movie

The screens are big and seats are comfy, if you get lucky and get in the deluxe screen (or pay more) you get a bigger screen there is also a small bar and a better toilet there. The sound and picture is usually good although sometimes the picture is a bit dark and flashes lighter and darker and is not rectified throughout the movie.

The viewing experience during quiet times (before evening usually) is good, quiet and pleasant. "But" during holidays and more busy times it is just plain annoying! this being bradford you get many people in gangs usually chavs or pakistani boys who just make the whole movie plain awful to watch.

They talk to each other and on mobiles during the movie, also they constantly move from screen to screen in order to watch movies for free. It is a massive nuissance and really does ruin an otherwise good cinema. Because of this i hardly ever go there now it even happens in less busy times usually with foreign people especially chinese who just talk so loudly during the movie and feel its home.

These people have no regard for anyone else who has paid to watch the film and because this is bradford people are afraid to actually tell them to stop as it will cause a fight. Sometimes people do tell them to shut up but this is often bad as either they get abused or the annoyances become even more irritating. It would help if a staff member came to check during the movie.
Summary

Nice cinema so long as you go before the peak times and are lucky enough to not encounter the annoyances you should find it a good experience. Prices are steep but less painful if your a student and there is a pass you can get (for more check there website)

Why go here when it is not free to park? There are plenty of cinemas with free parking
