Las Vegas has gone through a lot of renovations in the last couple of years but there are parts that still lack that glitz and glamour that Vegas is known for and the Circus Circus hotel is one of those places. This is not surprising given that it was opened in 1968 making it one of the older hotels on the strip. The hotel is located right at the end of the strip so if you are looking to be right in the action then you will have to walk someway to find it unfortunately but if you are here with kids then maybe being right int he heart of the strip is not exactly what you want anyway.
The hotel is easy to spot as it features a giant Clown sign which is a digital screen like most of the hotels have telling you what is happening in the hotel and casino in the upcoming days, special offers etc, trying to attract clientele all the time. There is also a Big Top entrance to the casino working with the circus theme.
One of the great attractions for kids at this hotel is the indoor theme park called The Adventuredome. I have to admit I was quite underwhelmed with this "theme park" as it didn't look that fun to me and considering you have roller coasters elsewhere and Disney theme parks only a few hours away this is not something I would especially make a trip to. However, when in Vegas......The Adventuredome has 25 rides, most of which we actually didn't go on because we were with really little kids so we mostly just ended up wandering around and playing on arcade style games and enjoying the atmosphere. I have to admit that they do make the characters and staff work well though and the circus theme was carried out quite well throughout the whole of the theme park. We saw clowns wandering around and clown shows, etc. This is very much a "day" casino and I think if you have ever been to Vegas you will know what I mean. The lights are on and this casino is very bright and not really like most of the other ones which function under the facade of night time all the time.
The only food we had in this casino was the buffet for breakfast one morning. I did like the buffet and there was everything you wanted to eat. The kids loved it but it was not as luxurious as say the buffet you can get at The Bellagio or other nicer hotels. There were no nice champagne offers which I really like! I did see signs telling you that a lot of the restaurants had kids eat free offers so if you come here with a large family or lots of kids it could be very beneficial for your wallet. This is definitely a hotel for kids, not luxurious at all but if you are looking for a stop over and cheap hotel then it is something for you.

More info on the room and rest of hotel would be good as I sell this hotel but, having never been, it would be more useful to know that stuff as well.! If you add any more info, then let me know and I'll happily re rate! x
