Advantages: Brightly lit Disadvantages: Noisy, ugly, garish, lacking in architectural merit

It has always seemed to me to be garish, dirty, noisy, and generally lacking in architectural grace or harmony. Leicester Square, although also very busy,is,in my opinion,a much nicer area to explore. The Circus is also a let down in that Piccadily which leads into it is a very nice stretch of urban architecture and houses some great shops. When you arrive at the Circus, elegance has "gone out of the window". Advantages: great place to visit Disadvantages: dangerous at times
...it was quite embarrasing..because everyone in my group thought that it was a circus...the one where you can see chimpanzee!....luckily..one of the member have the head to read the brochure....but picadilly circus is always a great place to visit if you're down to london...it's busy with people...day or night..but night time is even better. you can see people from all the walks of life..parading infront of you.with the neon lights and beatiful buildings, i think you would fall in love with london that night..if not a day before. i liked it so much, that i took two days off my tour to scout round the area....
