It is a very beautiful place, pretty big and with lots of interesting parts, such as rare flowers, waterfalls, caves, a lake on which you can rent a boat and sit in it and look at the beautiful sky and thank God that you were born. If you love chess, you can be sure that at any time and at any hour you can find at least 30 people playing chess in the area that was meant for them. There is a part in the Cismigiu Gardens in which you think you are up on a mountain... you can hear the waterfall...the stone makes you feel like someone very lucky to be there...all you have to do is listen to the nature. If you have kids there is no better place to take them. Many interesting things to do, such as playgrounds, toys to buy for them or ice cream, or let them run...or just sit in the middle of the nature and be free and happy. Also if you are in love, there are some "secret" places for those who want to get some time with the other one..such as "the castle" which is somewhere in the corner of the Garden..and many other places. Of course for that you have to go in the Gardens and live the magic on your own skin and then you will understand that the Cismigiu Gardens are a part from heaven.

...get to visit Bucharest, the Cismigiu Gardens are a think you wouldn't like to miss. Situated in the center of Bucharest, not faar away from the National Art Gallery and The Atheneum (so you can visit these two atractions on the way), it is one of the largest public parks of the city. It is connected to some of the main buslines, on the Maria Elisabeta Boulevard you can take any bus to the University, and from there you can use the subway line M1. ... ...are the hidden romantic places, benches behind gigant rocks, or spending time in the top of one of the hills, the sound of the waterfall and so on.
One think I can guarantee for sure: if you are visiting Bucharest, you won't regret spending some hours in the Cismigiu Gardens ...

...London, but this particular one, Cismigiu Garden is the oldest Garden in Bucharest. Along time it brought many beautiful memories in many hearts. Grandfathers from today are telling the stories how they met their wifes for the first time in Cismigiu Gardens. It has always been a romantic place, calm and quiet, a good oases to run to, in the middle of a hectic Bucharest.
Cismigiu is located close to Universitatii Square, across the City Hall building. ... ...Sunday concerts at the gazebo. Cismigiu was first designed and laid out in 1830 by the German landscape architect Carl Meyer, on the commision of Prince Gheorghe Bibescu, but it wasn't completed until 1860.
