important economic district. The Ecole Nationale des Arts & MÚtiers, the PitiÚ-SalpÛtriÞre hospital and the Latin Quarter are a few minutes away. Nearby you will also find the very typical Butte aux Cailles, with its quaint streets and pubs, the Jardin des Plantes with the Natural History Museum, the Franþois Mitterrand Library (tgb), the famous Chinese Quarter and the Gobelins Tapestry Workshop. The Bercy Sports Center, Censier and Jussieu Universities and the Arabic World Institute are also very close. In addition, there is a large cinema next to the hotel. The hotel offers various apartments which are cleaned on a weekly basis. We also have 3 meeting rooms (accommodating up to 30 people), each equipped with flipcharts, mobile screens and direct dial telephones. A TV, video, overhead projector and screen are also available on request.
...This is another hotel from Accor, the founders of Ibis. However i am reviewing the Etap hotel situated on the outskirts of Paris, within an area known as Kremlin Bicetre. In this area, you have the choice between an Ibis hotel, a Novotel and the Etap, as well as various other smaller establishments, of which the Etap is by far the least expensive. The Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie is split into two buildings; Ouest (west) and Est (east). Whereas the western hotel has 144 rooms, the eastern has 171. However both offer the same value for money. But please remember these are low budget, no frills hotels so don't expect to be living in the lap of luxury!
The French Etaps are cheaper than those in the UK and will only set you back 48 Euros (around £33) per room per night. But bear in mind there is a 3 Euro suppliment for the second...

Advantages: Always something to do, beautiful place. Disadvantages: Not enough hours in the day
...I love Paris; I never thought I'd say that, as it's not what I would have considered to be my type of place at all. I first went a couple of years ago, with just one other person, I think that's ideal really.
We travelled by Euro star which I highly recommend, it's relaxing, better for the environment and super quick! It's like going on a coach ride.
The first time I went was very early January, just after new year's day. I personally think this is the best time to go, financially and for experience. All the Christmas decorations are up and the restaurants and shops have their own unique decorations, it still feels like Christmas.
Travel:
I booked the hotel included with the Euro star travel, and the other thing I booked in advance was a 3day Metro pass, which made it possible to go pretty much anywhere. For some...

Advantages: Something new to explore..you can be in Paris and Las Vegas at the same time! Disadvantages: A bit pricy for some, you need more than two weeks to see everything!
... First . . . Las Vegas . . . and the strip
One of the magnificent trips that I will never forget was my recent visit to the city of lights and entertainment - Las Vegas! It is the most densely inhabited city in the United States of America.
Las Vegas is known for its gambling places and games; for unusually shaped large hotels, casinos, restaurants, resorts, properties and spacious houses.
Most of the first class hotels, casinos and entertainments are laid out over a mere 3.8 miles.
The most extraordinary hotel I have ever seen was the Paris Hotel . . . in Las Vegas! It’s not only a hotel . . . it’s like an amusement city! This hotel was arranged, decorated and designed just as if a slice of Paris had been pulled out and put down in Las Vegas!
I was lucky enough to go to Las Vegas . . .
I work in a travel...
