Advantages: Big Airport Disadvantages: None that I have found so far
...Auckland, the city most believe should be the capital, is the biggest and most lively place in New Zealand. The most attractive aspect of Auckland in particular is that marries together the typical laid back New Zealand lifestyle, with the modern conviniences and services of any big city. Aucklandcity centre itself is new with a lot of attractive arcitechture, and similar to London, just without the sheer mass of people. You'll find whatever you want in the shopping centres of downtown Auckland, but then can drive for 30mins and be in the relatively tranquil countryside. If you're going to New Zealand, you must visit Auckland, and you'll be guranteed a great time....

Advantages: Great people, nice fresh clean air, not so much traffic and wide open spaces in a big NZ city! Disadvantages: It's one hell of a long flight!

Auckland's Queen Street is the best place for partying, Cactus Jacks is a little bit like Jumping Jaks here in Britain.
Then down by the wharf, you have an array of fine restaurants and pubs, you can also find the markets down there as well. (Chinese Market and the ordinary one...

Advantages: Easy to find!!! Disadvantages: Nothing that comes to mind
...We visited the Sky Tower to gain a different view of Auckland and were rewarded with an awesome view.We took lots of photos all the way round and planned where to go during our stay in the city. It was nice to see where we'd been over in Devon port earlier that day and the bridge looked great from up high . You can walk all the way round and even walk over glass panels in the flooring! ( not for the faint hearted) if you're even braver bungee jump off ! Go to the top level for the extra money well worth the ride. A must visit if you are in Auckland, but do go on a fine day!!!!...
