The hotel bar is again contemporary in style, but is comfortable and has a good number of guests in the evenings. Breakfast was of a high standard with excellent service and a great selection of hot and cold foods. All in all, a great place to stay!

Quick review of City Inn, Manchester
City Inn Cafe, Manchester : we didn't stay in the hotel but wanted to try the restaurant as we had heard that it was high quality food. Unfortunately it was very dissappointing.
The atmosphere was flat with dull decor and the waiters were whispering because it was so quiet. Once we were given food we came to realise why. Never once were we asked if we were enoying our meal and we were left stranded at the end waiting for our bill. Opting for the Market Menu supposedly fresh local produce, we found the food was a mix of strange flavours and overcooked. My starter was tasteless, my main was overcooked seabass overwhelmed by strong sauce, but I did enjoy the sorbet dessert. My partners was equally bad except for the soup starter which was tasty. All in all it was a boring and dissappointing meal definately not worth the inflated prices! ...

LOCATION, LOCATION:
We were in Manchester for a gig at the football ground in Old Trafford. Not being totally confident of having secured the tickets, I'd been too reticent about booking accommodation for the night and couldn't get anything (at any price) in Old Trafford itself. The next option was to aim for somewhere close to our city ...

A real good nights sleep this was what I had when I stayed at the Manchester Premier Travel Inn MEN Arena.
My friend and I had booked tickets to see Will Young in concert and as a Travel Agent I always seem to get lumbered with the travel arrangements such as the hotel, this time though I wanted something close to the event that was warm and cheerful, I normally stay at the Travelodge on Deansgate but this time it was all booked up and I didn't fancy trying to get a taxi at the end of the concert or walking for miles in heels either so I had a look on the Travel Inn website only to discover it had rebranded as the Premier Travel Inn.

The reason for this merge was to try and compete ...
Advantages: Fabulous location, polite and friendly staff Disadvantages: //
I have stayed in this hotel around 4 times, we always go back to this hotel. When i travel to Manchester it is concerts in the MEN arena or for Old Trafford. The hotel is definately in the best loacation, it is 5 minutes from the MEN arena and 5 minutes from the Arndale shopping centre, which is always worth a visit. There are also some bars and clubs across the road from the shopping centre and many pubs outside very nice for sitting outside on a sunny day. If you are travelling a little further somewhere eg. Old trafford the trams are always on the go very easy to get to and the nearest one is located next to the MEN Arena. The location is absolutely perfect, everything you need is right there.
The last time we stayed we were at a concert and were just staying for the one night, but on the off chance when we got there we went ...
