The Cape of great hotel!

Advantages: Great location
Disadvantages: Not that family friendly

The Radisson SAS Waterfront was a great hotel situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, with views of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Robben Island and Table Mountain. The hotel was just on the edge of the town centre. Most hotels are located around the Victoria and Alfred waterfront complex and, as such, have particularly steep prices. The Radisson was walking distance to the V&A waterfront but did not suffer from extortionate prices (our room came in at about £70 a night). It had a sizeable car park and was well situated for driving down the coast of Cape Town. At the time of booking, we were not offered a choice on rooms so ended up with a basic room only. This was fine but we missed out on views of the harbour that could be seen from rooms at the back of the hotel. The room was spacious (approx 36 sq meters) with a king size ...

Cape Town, the place to be

Advantages: Great Scenery, Value for money, Pristine beaches
Disadvantages: not much

Cape town is an aersome place. i love it so much and would highly recommend anyone visit it. From pristine wite beaches, the awesome mountan and the V&A waterfront, this is the place to be! It is also very cheap whe nyou are coming over from the united states or europe bercause of the exchange rate. a beer costs around $1 - $1.50. Cape town is relatively safe compared to most south africa ncities, especially johannesburg, mostly due to the huge tourist industry. cape town is pretty small and easy to travel around. there is no trains or decent bus service, but you can hire a car for really cheap, and the are tour buses in the city. i highly recommend going there www.explorecapetown.co.za ...

Review of Cape Town Experience - General

Beautiful Cape Town

Advantages: The most beautiful city in the world, the view of Table mountain from the ocean
Disadvantages: The rumor says that there is a lot of crime

whales and about other animals. There is also a planetarium connected to the museum and I enjoy that show a lot. Beaches There are lots of nice beaches around in the Cape Town area. We took a minibus to Camps Bay one day. Camps Bay is located about 3 to4 km from Sea Point (moving away from the city). The beaches on this side of town have freezing water. I?m from Norway so I?m used to cold water but this water was absolutely freezing. If you move to the False Bay area the water is a bit warmer. IMAX theater There is an IMAX theater at the BMW pavilion near the waterfront. It has several shows during the day and during the evening and if you have to wait you can always take a look at the BMWs. The waterfront area The waterfront area is nice. It is a nice mixture between shopping malls, restaurants, bars and a working dock. This ...
