Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...

CLARE - Have you been there?

Advantages: History, Wildlife, Beautiful Scenery, and all FREE!
Disadvantages: Unfortunately there is not much of the castle 'keep' left to see.

of the old priory struck a deal with the railway company to have his own station for personal use, he used to hail them when he wanted to get on, so that he didn't have to walk to Clare station, how bizarre! The railway brought wealth into Clare until the roads took over, and in 1966 goods transported by rail ceased and the railway between Sudbury and Cambridge was finally closed in 1967. We stopped by the side of a wildlife pond, it was warm and sunny, there was a family of ducks out for a swim, and all was well! We found a bench under the trees and ate our picnic. As the sun beat down it was easy to imagine days gone by in the life and times of the castle. DOGS: Dogs are allowed in the castle as long as they are well behaved. They are not however allowed in the children's play, or picnic areas. WHERE IS CLARE? The park is ...

premier travel inn(charing cross glasgow)

Advantages: very central
Disadvantages: very busy at times

Living in England these past twenty years but coming from scotland i frequently have to travelto glasgow ad have had the pleasure of staying at this travel inn. The inn itself is sitiuated very central within the heart of glasgow and is easily reached coming from M8 southbound and M74 northbound. The inn itself is a comfertable place to relax have a nice meal and blow the cobwebs away from an exhausting day. The rooms are very comfertable and the cleanliness is of a high standard the inn caters for most peoples culinary requirements and the food is of a high standard. Iwould have no problem recommending people try it but it is only my opinion. postnote. glasgow is a vibrant throbbing community and staying at the inn gurentees you access to its lively shops boutiques and pubs.
