Stayed in this hotel in the run up to Christmas for a weekend and was impressed overall.

I am unable to give an indication of price per room per nite unfortunately as we were upgraded, happy days, to a very impressive hotel at no extra cost, but this is definitely priced at the top end of the market.

The reception is luxuriously decorated with extremely helpful staff, who were more than willing to point us in the direction of the nightlife and shopping areas which are simply a 5 minute stroll away.

The location of this hotel is great because you are just on the periphery of this area meaning you get an enjoyable rest if you want to get away from it all.

Food in the hotel was of the highest standard. Meals are available by booking into the restaurant or by simply sitting in the bar, where you don't need to book in advance. Note about this place, you don't get much craic from the barstaff here, if you want a good bit of Irish craic, head away from the hotel!

The breakfast buffet in the morning had every imaginale warm and cold dishes with very attentive staff on hand who are more than willing to accomodate any special requests.

Apart from the all important food and drink available, this hotel has an extremely impressive health centre with probably the best equiped gym I have come across in a hotel before. There is also a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and swimming pool available. Note swimming caps must must be worn in the pool at all times and cost 3.50 Euros.

A problem with city centre locations is car parking - not a problem here, free parking in the underground car park so no need to worry about being clamped etc.

The rooms were finished to the highest standard and were large in size. The usual things are on offer such as satellite tv, kettle, hairdryer, touser press etc. We were lucky in that ours overlooked the quay, some windows look down into the main body of the hotel, so make sure to draw your curtains when getting changed or someone could ge an eyeful!!!

This hotel is suited more to professionals, it was quite stuffy and formal and we noticed a distinct lack of families present and group like ourselves. This is the major qualm I would have about the place, couples and individuals in town yes, others look for somewhere else to stay.

By putting in a quick search in any search engine should bring up their own website if you wish to look at it in greater detail.
