The highlights for me were Silverstar in France and Fjord-Rafting in Scandanavia (perfect for cooling down on a hot day). There are plenty of rides and attractions to suit everyone here, and also hotels in some countries, such as in Spain and Italy. Freiburg city centre is filled with cobbled streets, Bächle (little streams) and shops, as well as the historice Münster and Schwarbentor. Also, watch out for the trams and see if you can discover the crocodile in the river. At night, many of the teenagers of Freiburg can be found at the river banks of the Dreisam, where a Dreisamufercafe can be found. We found that a good way of getting there is to fly to Basel, which is on the French-Swiss border, and then get a special airport bus into Freiburg. The bus journey takes about 55 minutes. Be warned- the bus fare is about ?32 per person for a return, which is a lot considering the relatively short distance. However we had no complaints beyond that- the bus was on time and comfortable. The Hotel The hotel we stayed at was the Inter-City Freiburg, which is about as near to the train station as you can get without actually being on the railway tracks. With the main tram station and plenty of bus links nearby, it goes without saying that this was all extremely convenient. ...Why Black Forest? Actually it is a green forest as usual forest but in the winter time it becomes black! that's why it is called black forest! I just visited there 2 weeks ago and of course there is snow covering the forest...so, i took nice pictures....there are lakes around the Black Forest, for example, Titisee and etc.... The famous well-known thing of this town is Cuckoo clocks..they are very cute and very creative, I bought one as my souvenir..... I would liket to mention to Freiburg, one of very nice town of Germany, clean and things are well-kept. The main place for people who visit german town is the Rathaus(Town Hall)and another attractions of Freiburg is water way along the road which is not normally seen in germany nowadays....
