The accomodation Upon checking in to the accomodation I was asked for my Passport, so they could check the details of the booking I had made under my own name. I guess they use this procedure against breakages and in case of theft, trouble etc. I have not known this to be a feature in accomodation in England. This company procedure did not bother me whatsoever. I travelled alone to this accomodation, having booked a small room, however when I was shown my room I am sure it would have been suitable for two people. As I was staying in prague for two nights on a leisurely short city break, this did not particularly bother me too much regarding the standard of the facilities. Our Perfect Stay In Prague

Advantages: Convenient location, lovely apartment, good value for money
Disadvantages: Outside of building could do with a re - vamp

For my boyfriend's birthday last year, I booked us both tickets to Prague for a 5 day break in December. After booking the flights, I then needed to find somewhere to stay. Review of Prague Old Town Apartments

A bargain character hotel in the Centre of Prague

Advantages: Good location, small inexpensive hotel with large room
Disadvantages: Not a full-service hotel

Sometimes I really have to think long and hard about whether to write a review of a hotel that I like for fear of persuading others to use it and then finding I can't get a room next time I want one. So please consider yourselves honoured that I'm going to let you in on a secret and tell you about the hotel I found recently in Prague. Why do so many people shun local hotels in favour of the international hotel chains? Well my guess is that they are looking for security - like American tourists hunting down McDonalds in Paris and Rome. They know they'll never get anything surprising but they know exactly what they WILL get. A hotel brand should guarantee a certain level of quality in return for sometimes paying well over the odds.
