Second best option for Prague airport, but still a good hotel

Advantages: Free internet, decent sized room
Disadvantages: Not the closest to the airport, no shops nearby, no kettle in the room

Continuing my current trend of hotel reviews that lack the useful addition of photos I bring you a review of the the Holiday Inn at Prague airport. If you are visiting Prague I don't advise you to stay at the airport, there's no reason to. It's 15 minutes by bus 100 or 119 to the metro (I forget exactly which bus goes to which metro line) and you can surely find a more interesting place to stay in the city. If for some reason you need to be at the airport then there are two hotels I've used in recent months and this is one of them. Location Well, the hotel is at the airport, almost. It's a bit of a walk. If you're arriving at the airport and are staying at the hotel, give them a call and they'll pick you up. It's only a couple of minutes by road. There's a courtesy phone right by the arrivals door in the international terminal ...

Review of Holiday Inn Prague Airport

Prague Castle

Advantages: Great view
Disadvantages: Waste of money

As some of you will know from my other review I visited Prague recently. I didn't include Prague Castle in that review because it seemed like the review was already really long but as it is one of the main attractions. This review is going to be really mixed because there is so much to Prague castle. It's really like going to a little village because there is so much to the castle and the area around it and if you want to see it all then you'll need to spend the entire day there. -Tickets- I bought a Prague Card and got the short tour free on that but if you don't have a prague card the prices are: Short Tour- 250 crowns (Ł9.22) Long Tour-350 Crowns (Ł12.90) You can also pay to get into individual attractions and discounts are available, as well as family tickets. (Please not that the currency in Prague is changing so ...

Review of Prague Castle

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...
