St Anton

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, Clean Air, Superb Excursions, Warm and Friendly Folk
Disadvantages: can be expensive to the British Pocket

rather hilly, it is a most interesting place to stay and with lots going on both through the day and in the evenings, of course St Anton comes to life in the winter wiht skiing being available for both the Novice and the Expert Skier. St Anton is an excellent base from which to explore the rest of the Tirol, with the Kaunertal Valley, Italy, Lichtenstein, Switzerland and Germany all being within and easy day excursion by car, there are many chairlifts and cable cars around St Anton and regular tain service to Bregenz and Innsbruck. I would not recommend St Anton to those who find hilly environments difficult, I would direct you to Seefeld which is very level despite being in the thick of the mountains.. St Anton is a lively place with lots of night life loads of Hotels and Guesthouses to suit all tastes and pockets and plenty of great ...

St Anton

Advantages: Lifts, Snow, Cartouche, Friendly, Hotel Rendlhof
Disadvantages: Piste grooming, wet lower down at Easter, weather on St Anotn, prices.

£1.50 for a half at least), but there are a wide variety of bars for your viewing - I recommend Scotty's as a quiet bar, The Funky Chicken as a loud bar, The Underground as a good piano bar, with a little live place downstairs, Bar Cuba for dancing, and Cartouche as possibly the seediest club in town - with great cocktails, leopardskin stools, and an amazing atmosphere - not to be missed for anything! The drinking age is 16. There are lots of shops, including supermarkets for budget skiers, craft shops, souvenir shops, and an Internet cafe. How to Get There As I have already said, St Anton is 90 minutes from Innsbruck by road or 150 minutes from Zurich. There are also regular trains to Innsbruck, and further on to European destinations. Costs Lift Passes are not cheap - for 6 days £112 in low season and £125 in high season ...

Review of St Anton am Arlberg

St Deny's, the clean hotel for my dirty weekend!

Advantages: Polite and helpful staff, clean hotel.
Disadvantages: Bed a bot on the small side for my husband.

After an incredible weekend away with my darling husband to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary, I have now decided to do my first and quite possibly my last hotel review! Our destination of choice for this excursion was to be a place new to us, so of course the hotel had to be in a prime location at a price we could afford?fortunately we seemed to fall on our feet so to speak on both of these points. Our destination, to be exact was York, and due to the sheer number of attractions available to us, we wanted a hotel reasonably central, or at least within walking distance of the few sights we wished to see. After some extensive research, mostly through the designated York tourist board site, we came across the perfect hotel. St Denys hotel, a small but very quaint hotel, housing 13 rooms only, but with it?s own parking ...
