I went to salou way back in 2006 but i remeber my vist very well. The hotel was presented well, cleaniness is key in my eyes and the rooms were cleaned daily with new sheets and towels. The hotel is in a prime position for the beach or fuetaventura theme park which is great for the kids or even adults! I went on a half board basis which i was kind of disapointed on some days as on some occasions the food was cold and the diversity was lacking but generally they had a good selection of fruit, drink, meat and vegetables to try. Ice cream was also a favourite as i could go up many times and enjoy them again and again. Other than the food, the staff in the hotel were very friendly and tried to accomodate any need that you may have required.
If your looking for dropping the kids off in a club so you can spend the day relaxing or getting away from the hotel then there are clubs available however they arent up to scratch in my opinion but obviously this may have changed within 2 years.
All in all i think the hotel was definately worth the £340 for a week in july and i would generally recommend it to all.
In the month of July of this year my self and my mother took a trip to sunny Salou in Spain she hadn't been there before but i, being a seasoned traveller (cough cough) had already been previously in May with my sister
