OH DEAR! |

A beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to do, and nowhere to go. Loads of mozzies and flies, but happy smiley staff. Negombo is the closest town and has a problem with mozzie fevers.
The beach is cluttered with rubbish and the sea is not safe to swim in. The red flags are there to say it is not safe to swim, and the hotel doesnt have any other kind of flags, so it is unsafe at all times.Check out all the info on this hotel at clubhoteldolphin.web.com. It has a full review of the hotel and the area, including what to look out for.
Be careful of ASDA Tours with your credit card, and don't use Harald Tours at the front of the hote, as we saw first hand how nasty they were when they attacked our driver because he was from another tour company in Negombo.By the way you will find cheaper tours from Lewis Place in Negombo who will pick you up from the Hotel.
