*** ClubLa Costa in Fuengirola, Spain ***
By the way - weather was fantastic and in the 30's.
We had a fantastic holiday of lazing around by the pool and took a day trip to Gibraltar.
I'm not going into the food side of things too much but for two course meal for five it was around 50 euros including a drink each. This was same in all restaurants we visited on site.

Advantages: 3 Pools, 2 bars, close to nightlife, good entertainment Disadvantages: not great if your looking for a quiet holiday
I stayed in the Club paraiso based in San Antonio in July 2004 and July 2005, and I've had the best holiday of my life. We booked the holiday as a late deal so we got a week for £200.
RECEPTION
On entrance the reception is very clean and spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful, the security are very strict sometimes too much so, they once wouldn't let us sign a friend in becasue he didn't have his passport with him. You need to show your swipe card on each entry.
THE ROOMS
The rooms are studio rooms, spacious for 2, but get a little crowded at 3, there are cooking facilities including, two cooking rings, a toaster, kettle, all cuttlery and a little oven. The shower does its job and there are always clean sheets and towels, the balconys are a good size, the first time I stayed the view was much to be desired but ...

Advantages: Some realistic cars, a fun but not too serious game :) Disadvantages: Expensive, repetitive, too realistic for those used to NFS on ps2!
I bought Midnight ClubLA spur of the moment because I was disappointed with Forza 2 as its so realistic and wanted a crazy racing game like the old days of NFS underground on ps2. It took some getting used to, but its half way there.
Again the game aims for realism losing the element of fun. You can't bounce off walls to get around corners on racing games these days! It took me a long time to get a feel for the controls however once I managed the game became a lot more enjoyable. Using the triggers on the back of the controller instead of buttons (X and O for ps2 owners) make controlling vehicles a lot easier as you can control your speed, but when racing I found this irritating as just holding the accelerated gets you in a mess.
As a game however once you get past all this it is pretty good. Standard street racing stuff- cool looking ...
