On arrival at club marthas at 11 am in the morning ,after being awake for over 24 hours, i was told that i could not check into my apartment until after 2pm. i was not amused as you could probably of guessed.
After finally getting my key card for my room, which was self catering, i could think of nothing better than to have a lovely cup of tea.
To my shock i had to hire the kettle, toaster, iron and other items from ... ...weeks holiday at club marthas which was advertised as a four star hotel.
The room was unclean the bathroom smelt to high heaven.
By this time i just broke down in floods of tears as when i had brought this holiday i was told this hotel was one of the best on the island and it was worth the extra money.
I can only imagine the squaller other holiday makers must of been staying in.

Anyway i thought maybe thing would look up as the entertainment might be better , apparantly its the best on majorca, well i should of guessed really it was a total load of rubbish performed mostly in dutch , which i never learnt at school so i found it very hard to work out what was actually going on.
The only thing this hotel has going for it is the pools. They are clean and the area around them is safe. As for saying that most of the staff are nice and welcoming its just a shame they work for club marthas.
my general advice is to stay clear of club marthas and get a hotel in cala'dor as club marthas is in cala'egos which has the smallest beach you have ever seen covered in rubbish and i even saw a syringe needle amongst the sand.
Majorca in general is a nice place and according to other people i know that have been they have enjoyed there accomodation so please dont think that all majorcan hotels/apartments are the same as club marthas.
Advantages: Everyting!!!! Disadvantages: None, I cant honestly say any this place is so good!
...and there is the molly club for the kids, with their dreaded song : "Molly club molly club..........." but it goes on for like 1 minute so phew! So your entertained and the entertainers are lively and up for a laugh they all speak excellent english. And we even threw them in the pool ha ha! Nightime isno differnt, after a hard day the entertainment crew thrive to put on an excellt disco for the youngsters and a fantastic show, which has never failed ... ...good. After that if you still fancy partying then go into the underground nightclub, its nice in there, no nasty drunks and you can have a dance and generally look silly!! Overall I have no bad things to say, its perfectly situated near a beach, its small but you dont need a large bech as there is not too many people, and ther is lots of shops so you can get your gifts
What more can I say, ive been here 8 times, ive seen this hotel evolve and get ...
