Club Quarters Gracechurch is a former Edwardian bank in the heart of the business centre of London. It is a very clean and comfortable place to rest your weary bones after a day of sightseeing. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Our bathroom was a little on the small side.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Tower of London, St Paul's, The Monument and Underground stations to connect you to the rest London has to offer. The hotel is in the business district so all pubs and eateries are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This ensures a quiet night's sleep without the disturbances of night time revelers. Nevertheless, you don't have to walk too far to find food and drink.

Club Quarters is a haven for business travelers during the week and all the facilities for such clients are well met. At weekends the hotel is open to the public.

Our room was cosy but the bathroom a tad small. Nevertheless, the accommodation suited our needs. The room had the usual tea and coffee facilities, a TV, internet access and a small collection of books.

The lobby was clean and the lounge comfortable with large sofas and armchairs, newspapers and a machine for tea/coffee.

Given the cost of other hotels of this class Club Quarters offers good value for money in a premium location. A weekend stay cost £64 per room per night in a standard double room. ( Prices for 2006)

At the weekend there is a pub chain (Weatherspoons) at Tower Hill, accessible by tube or a brisk 10 minute walk, where you can get a cheap hearty breakfast and have the view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
