Having been to these apartments I feel I must write and share my findings. Well what a fantastic place this is. Having been to marmaris a few times this has to be one of the best places I have stayed in.
The complex was built back in 1998 so is relitivly new and consists of 84 apartments, 11 studios and 3 hotel rooms.
Location
The Club Turquoise is situated 1.5 km from Marmaris centre and the old bazaar, 860m from the beach(approx 15 minute walk) 1km from the Friday market, 2km from Bar Street, 600m from pharmacy and 750m from the local hospital. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. All in all it is quite central for everything although not right in the centre so you do have some peace of a night.
Accommodation
All rooms are cleaned everyday and linen changed every two days. The rooms are basic but are functional. The rooms do not have TV's but they are avaliable to rent, but lets face it who stays in their room whilst on holiday? The apartments contain all the basic need of a self catering holiday such as kitchentte with fridge, hotplate, cooking facilites and utentils. The living area has a dining tabe and 2 sofa beds. The bedroom has either one double bed or two single beds. All apartments are equiped with air conditioning( a must have) and private bathroom. Hotel room can accomodate upto 2 people and again have one double or two single beds. The facilites are the same as the apartments but without cooking facilies and the rooms are smaller
Entertainment
The entertainment here is outstanding and really you do not have to leave the complex. The types of activies they have are: kararoke nights, bbq nights, themed nights, compitions of a day they have pool games, darts, kids games, bingo the list goes on really. There is also a big screen tv which shows all premiership football.
On site there is also a hairdressers, jewellers, tattoist, beauty therapist (who by the way give excellant massages) on site shoprestaurant and snack bar a huge pool which dominates and an open air jacuzzi where you can relax and cool off. The recepion is 24 hours and have a foreign exchange facility. If needed they can also provided a wake up call.
Staff
The staff here are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. They really make you feel welcome and play games with the kids which keeps them busy for a few hours while you have a rest.
Opinion
A well kept self catering option with a lively, friendly atmosphere. Family orientated with almost exclusivly Britsh clientele. I for one will certainly be going back to these apartments and they are resonably priced too. The only downside really is that not all rooms have a balcony, some only have french windows, which is not good as you're not able to sit out. Give it a try next time you plan your holiday to marmaris, you wont be disapointed.
