liverpool moat House - great accom - poor food

Advantages: location, rooms
Disadvantages: food

Just back from a night at the Liverpool MH, i need to tell you the good and the bad ! As far as acomoadation goes it was great - 2 double beds in a room overlooking the BBC and steet. Noise and lighting no proble. Nice and very welcome temperature control in the room. Great location close to the Albert Dock for an evening walk and window shop. Nice well furnished bice communal areas around reception. Sadly I cant give anything other than the thumbs down to the food. We sdtayed in a company do and so were charged £17.00 for a set ( and I mean set - even vegetarians had a choice of 1 dish) menu that was poor - I would feel cheated if I had paid £5. The chicken was covered in a bland white sauce. The vegetables were the same as had ben served up at lunchtime and the vegetarian option of noodles were so unappetising that everyone left 75 ...

Liverpool FC

Advantages: atmosphere
Disadvantages: none

Liverpool FC probably the greatest team in the world. The most succesful team in Britain 5 Time European Cup winners 18 League Titles The thing about Liverpool Football Club is not the brand, or the players, or the ground it's all about the people the crowd the atmosphere. Passion for the club is like iv'e never witnessed elsewhere the tears i've seen grown men cry when you'll never walk alone is played. To me Liverpool Football Club is not a club it's a religionand it's hard to explain unless you experience it yourself to hear the crowd pull the ball towards the goal and drive even the most average looking team to champions league glory. If you have never been please take my advice and visit the famous club in the world ...

Odeon - Liverpool's Number One

Advantages: Good sized screens, great auditoriums, caters for everyone,
Disadvantages: Popcorn sometimes cardboardy, expensive chocolate treats,

I am a huge cinema fan, and living in the centre of Birmingham for the last couple of years has meant putting up with Odeon Birmingham. Needless to say, I was very happy to discover the brand spanking new Odeon in Liverpool One, Odeon Liverpool One Odeon is actually the largest cinema chain in the UK, created by Oscar Deutsch in 1928. Some say that the name comes from Ancient Greek, others say that it comes from the motto Oscar Deutsch Entertains Our Nation. There are currently... a lot of Odeon cinemas across the UK (I tried to count, but it's a lot!). The website has a cinema finder to help you locate your nearest. For this review I shall be talking about Odeon, Liverpool ONE. When Liverpool ONE was redeveloped, the city centre Odeon branch was relocated here. The entrance can be found ...
