Many people would turn there back on Northern Ireland, too many terrorists and not enough love. Well, obviously these people haven’t been around Coleraine at night, it truly is the place to be.

Coleraine Borough is an outstandingly beautiful area featuring some of the most spectacular countryside in Northern Ireland. An ideal holiday base for all the family, there's simply so much to see and do.

For children there are water activities, beaches, adventure playgrounds and amusements. Golfers can perfect their game on any one of ten challenging courses while anglers will enjoy some of the best fishing in Europe. Watersports and lots of other activities are easily accessible.
Lots of Colourful spectacles and events include the Raft Race Festival and North West 200 Motor Cycle Races to name but two.

A range of excellent accommodation is provided too, most of which have received the NI Board Awards for Standards of Service and Quality, together with numerous well equipped caravan and camping parks. All in all, the Coleraine promises you a warm welcome, as well as room to move and time to unwind.

With more and more shops becoming interested in the springing economy of Coleraine, it is fast becoming one of Northern Ireland’s best shopping spots, where believe me, you can really pick up some good deals.

Coleraine is a very quiet town, just missing city statis, with a great cinema, the Jet Centre. Even though it’s very quiet this does not stop it from having a lively night life, oh no, with various clubs and pubs in Coleraine you can really have a good time out, without worrying about getting your head kicked in by some drunkards.

How to get there: You can travel to Northern Ireland by air, ferry, bus or rail. Advances in aircraft technology, passenger shipping, road improvements and high-speed rail travel offer faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel. Fares will vary by season and promotional programme. Each carrier can be contacted directly for fare information and reservations.

If you are interested in seeing any gigs, festivals etc. in this area you can always visit http://www.art.ie and check for them.

Coleraine is set in a very good location in Northern Ireland, right up in the north. It is also located very new the infamous town of Ballymoney, which is a must visit if you go to Coleraine. Ballymoney is famous because the farmers there many of years ago broke away from the norm and started to drink tea, which at the time only English nobels drank, so it is the people of Ballymoney you should thank when having that cup of tea at night (unless you’re an English nobel of course.)

Coleraine is also situated only a few minutes drive away from the Giant’s Causeway, one of the Seven Wonders of the World! It is definitely one of the things everyone must see at least once before he or she die!

All and all, Coleraine is an ever-expanding town. With more and more things to do every week, it’s a great choice for a holiday. Also. if you go there you can visit me! (I’m in Ballymoney!)
