Colombo International Airport goes by many names including Katunayake International Airport (KIA) and Bandaranayake Internatioal Aiport (BIA. It is fully air-conditiioned and there are no covered walk-ways between the plane and terminal. You have to take a less than 30 second bus ride. The arrivals duty-free isn't too bad but Departures is even better although you won't be able to find as much electrical equipment, so but all of it in the arrivals section. In the departures, you will be able to find alcohol and prefumes etc. with one or two clothes stores. I have also heard news that they have recently added a new wing or are planning to add one in the near future to make the duty free departments bigger.
