The Columba Hotel, with its modern interior, is located on the banks of the River Ness facing Inverness Castle.
It features 70 odd guest rooms, over four floors, with contemporary, dark wood furniture. All include satellite television, direct dial telephones, wireless Internet access, clock radios and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms have hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. The hotel"s Carvery Restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes using fine, local ingredients, and you can also enjoy a coffee or light snack at MacNabb"s Bistro, or sample one of its selection of more than 100 malt whiskies. The front desk is open 24 hours, and staff can provide safe deposit boxes and arrange childcare, and laundry and dry cleaning. you can catch up on the news with complimentary newspapers in the lobby, order snacks and drinks from the room service menu, and relax with a drink in the bar. There are business services, and wireless Internet access throughout the hotel for those with laptops. Motorists can use nearby parking. The hotel is in an excellent position to explore the surrounding area; Fort George and Cawdor Castle are both eight miles away, and Loch Ness, with its infamous monster hiding in the depths, is 10 miles distance. Inverness Airport is eight miles away, an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
