Latin' and near the PanthÚon. With refined decoration all the rooms of the hotel are equiped with air- conditionning. Our hotel is small and cozy with homey atmosphere in the Quartier Latin it has been entirely renovated. It is located on a street with the feel of a small village within the city. Farms, shops and restaurants are in the nearby. You are very close as well from the beautiful 'Jardin du Luxembourg'. Our team will be happy to tell you how to get to the Palace of Versailles or Disneyland Paris.

...and the RiveGauche. 10-15 minutes walk from Notre Dame (and the excellent Shakespeare & Co), a shorter distance from the Luxembourg Gardens, a choice of metro stations, and with a wealth of great restaurants in the vicinity (most notably Polidor - two doors down from the hotel). Even the Eiffel Tower was only 15 minutes or so away by bike (there's a Velib station on Rue Vaugirard very near the hotel).
I did have a worry with the hotel that there were a couple of bars on the street, but perhaps my British experience of these things took me over into paranoia as even with the window open during the night we weren't disturbed at all.
This hotel just felt so comfortable and relaxed - we're already planning a return to Paris next year, and I already know where I want to stay....

Advantages: Near to most major sites Disadvantages: In noisy atmosphere
...This was a nice comforthotel place du tertre, paris , well located and easy to find. We stayed here on a winter weekend and unfortunately the rooms were not warm enough, the thermostats didn't effect the room temp and there was no manual control for the heater. Also the walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by noisy guests next door arriving late at night, although this is not the fault of the hotel.
The location was excellent a short walk from Notre Dame and a walkable distance to most of the major sites (Eiffel Tower, La Louvre). The Metro is very close by and there were some good restaurants in the area.It was such a unforgoteble experience for me and my family.

...expensive journey. Luckily the return trip wasn't the same but it's not like you can argue with them nor do anything. So with my first impression of the locals engraved in stone in my mind I got out of the taxi to find the CardinalHotel, St Peters.
- The Address
The address suggests that the hotel is basically on the door step of the Vatican its self. I have no idea why it was so similar to the address of the actual St Peters because the CardinalHotel is on the out skirts of the city. Even one or two of the taxi drivers who had been around for a while weren't sure where it was.
To get to the hotel you have to turn off a main road after avoiding some mad traffic (that's how they drive there) into a back street which looks like it has taken a beating over the years and could do with someone tearing it apart and relaying the concrete...
