Hôtel Davout Nation is ideal for a business break or family getaway right in the heart of Paris. The hotel team will advise you on exploring the finest historic monuments, the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery, as well as Giverny or the Palace of Versailles. The hotel’s location lets you to reach Disneyland Paris direct via the a4 motorway or by public transport.
Advantages: Near to most major sites Disadvantages: In noisy atmosphere
...This was a nice comforthotel place du tertre, paris , well located and easy to find. We stayed here on a winter weekend and unfortunately the rooms were not warm enough, the thermostats didn't effect the room temp and there was no manual control for the heater. Also the walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by noisy guests next door arriving late at night, although this is not the fault of the hotel.
The location was excellent a short walk from Notre Dame and a walkable distance to most of the major sites (Eiffel Tower, La Louvre). The Metro is very close by and there were some good restaurants in the area.It was such a unforgoteble experience for me and my family.
Thanks....

The last time we ended up at a hotel near Place de la Republique but this time we ended up...

...after coming in from the Eiffel Tower and a beautiful meal to get a pot of tea, which we took to our room. The chairs are quite comfortable and it has a very relaxing feel to it as it is quite secluded.
Room
Before we went to Paris we were told that the rooms/hotels there are notoriously small, as land in Paris is at a premium, therefore being very expensive. So we did not get our hopes up. However, upon arrival to our room we were pleasantly surprised; we had a double bed, with lots of room all around it, 2 bedside tables a desk and a wardrobe. None of which infringed on the space of the room too much. It was very clean when we got there, and was cleaned daily whilst we were out, every day to a high standard. Our room also came with an electronic safe. We had a small balcony that overlooked the street behind the hotel...

For some reason, I booked a week's holiday to Brussels. On my own. It should be stated straight away that I didn't have a great holiday, but I'll try not to let that influence my views of the hotel itself.
