...Well, I was two times in Paris and i have heard that « les Parisiens » do not want to live in Paris, because of the stress and the more or less pollution. But I do not support this decision. Well, before I write something about Paris I tell you how you can travel to Paris in the best way. The best way to reach Paris is to go with an aeroplane or with the bus on account of the price (if you do not choose the first class to travel). Nevertheless, the comfort is not the best. With the car is too complicated, because it is too long and your car can be destroyed in Paris or it can be stolen. When you arrive the capital of France I propose you the street “rue des petites hotels”, on account of the many economic hotels with one or two stars. Advantages: Close to center, walkable to all main attractions.

...I had not been to Paris for many years but as this year was the year of my Girlfriends 18th I thought id take her away for a romantic weekend. I got all the city brochure books as you do and eventually settled on wanting to go back to Paris. The hotel I picked was the Hotel Bedford which is to be found just of the Place de la Concorde (excuse the spelling). The booking was made via Lunn Poly and for a double room the price was £120 a night which I thought very reasonable for a 4* deluxe hotel in the heart of Paris. This price included breakfast but no other meals although there are evening meals in the hotel should you not wish to dine out. We arrived in Paris very early (8.00 ish as we got the earliest flight out to avoid missing most of the day). We jumped on a bus at CDG airport and were in the centre of Paris within half an hour... Advantages: Near to most major sites
Disadvantages: In noisy atmosphere

...This was a nice comfort hotel place du tertre, paris , well located and easy to find. We stayed here on a winter weekend and unfortunately the rooms were not warm enough, the thermostats didn't effect the room temp and there was no manual control for the heater. Also the walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by noisy guests next door arriving late at night, although this is not the fault of the hotel. The location was excellent a short walk from Notre Dame and a walkable distance to most of the major sites (Eiffel Tower, La Louvre). The Metro is very close by and there were some good restaurants in the area.It was such a unforgoteble experience for me and my family. Thanks.... Read review
