Comfort Hotel Osterport is located in the quiet green part of Copenhagen, 5 min. walks to the little Mermaid. Everything at the hotel is designed to help one relax and enjoy. This is a well maintained, modern hotel in a handy location representing good value for all types of travellers. The modern hotel building forms part of one of the smaller railway stations, Osterport station, and overlooks one of the nicest parks in town. All rooms are soundproofed. Guests have access to such hotel amenities as dry cleaning service, conference rooms, and currency exchange.
Advantages: 4 star luxary, excellent breakfest, cheap deals if booked early Disadvantages: smallish sized room
...So here we are traveling the globe and the Scandinavian is without doubt the most expensive for hostels and we were really struggling to find a hostel in central Copenhagen until my girlfriend stumbled upon this excellent hotel which worked out to be only a couple of pounds more expensive then the hostels in the area - but this one has of course a four star luxury status!
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and of course a local metro stop which connects directly to the local airport. We made the short journey and located the street that the hostel was on easily. The hotel stood out on this quiet street as we arrived at 9pm and there was no one walking the streets and only one building as lit up - this was the phoenix.

Advantages: A pleasant place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful Disadvantages: Cost

(Unfortunately we just stayed in a standard room with 2 double beds. But it was nice all the same!) It is situated on the riverfront (and we were lucky enough to have a water facing view...

Advantages: Well situated, cheap and clean Disadvantages: Not at that price
...adjacent. I wouldn't say the staff were particularly multi-lingual, but with my best phrase-book style German and her slightly better English, we didn't have any major problems understanding one another. I can't say the same about finding our room though. The hotel is a traditional motel-style affair with a combination of three, 2 or 3 storey buildings around a courtyard. The trouble was that there were no room numbers on the outside of the buildings and consequently there was no way of knowing which building our room was in. Surprise, surprise. Our room was at the end of the last corridor of the last building we looked in.
The room was decorated in pastel shades with beechwood furniture and finishings. The decor seemed recently done and everything was fresh and clean. There were two firm and comfortable twin beds with crisp, white linen...
