I wouldn't say the staff were particularly multi-lingual, but with my best phrase-book style German and her slightly better English, we didn't have any major problems understanding one another. I can't say the same about finding our room though. The hotel is a traditional motel-style affair with a combination of three, 2 or 3 storey buildings around a courtyard. The trouble was that there were no room numbers on the outside of the buildings and consequently there was no way of knowing which building our room was in. Surprise, surprise. Our room was at the end of the last corridor of the last building we looked in. The room was decorated in pastel shades with beechwood furniture and finishings. Advantages: Near to most major sites
Disadvantages: In noisy atmosphere

...This was a nice comfort hotel place du tertre, paris , well located and easy to find. We stayed here on a winter weekend and unfortunately the rooms were not warm enough, the thermostats didn't effect the room temp and there was no manual control for the heater. Also the walls are paper thin and we were disturbed by noisy guests next door arriving late at night, although this is not the fault of the hotel. The location was excellent a short walk from Notre Dame and a walkable distance to most of the major sites (Eiffel Tower, La Louvre). The Metro is very close by and there were some good restaurants in the area.It was such a unforgoteble experience for me and my family. Thanks.... Read review

...We have recently come back from a weekend away down in London. The trip was not purely a leisure break - although we did of course make the most of our time by perusing some of the sights in the capital. The main reason, however, for us going to London was so that my mum could attend a hospital appointment which was arranged for early on the Monday morning. Rather than travel down on the day and risk being late, we decided to travel down by train on the Saturday and make a long weekend of it. The hospital my mum attends is near Harrow, in Middlesex. After searching online for hotels in the local area, we came across the Comfort Inn hotel, which is located 5-10 minutes walk from Northwick Park underground station (on the Metropolitan Line).
