Advantages: The Holiday Inn, Middlesbrough is pet friendly and has friendly staff generally and the breakfast is good
Disadvantages: standards are deceptive with several different tariffs that are not made explicit while rooms are down graded to match the price paid

..., some rooms include those little touches expected from this branded chain and some don’t. What you theoretically get for an extra fiver is: complimentary hot chocolate sachets and a mars bar, a stocked mini bar, possibly a slightly bigger room, accommodation on the second floor (probably better sound proofing), range of Neutrogena products, comb etc in the bathroom, complimentary bottles of water. All rooms appear to be tastefully decorated in white with yellows, browns and greens with a white cotton quilt cover and pillow cases, quilts and a quality lightweight throw, comfortable thick mattress, sturdy beds, two phones, silver effect fixtures; Full access to holiday inn information (view bill from TV etc.), extra channels, and a power shower. ...is available in all rooms and public areas throughout the hotel. It is a relatively new hotel and all 590 bedrooms are air conditioned, comfortable, well equipped and suitable for families. The hotel also has a restaurant, late bar and coffee lounge. Rooms can accommodate up to two adults and two children. The Heathrow Premier Travel Inn has a fully licensed Slice restaurant & bar which serves a variety of delicious food in a bright and contemporary setting. We stayed at the Premier Travel Inn, Bath Road for nearly a week and didn’t fly anywhere during our stay. The hotel proved to be an ideal base for visiting the local area including: Legoland, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, and Central London.
