Comfort Inn Downtown, Vancouver

A decent hotel choice for downtown Vancouver

Advantages: Great location, good facilities, great deal
Disadvantages: You'll be lucky to get the same deal

INTRODUCTION It was the first time Ms Larsbaby and myself had been to Vancouver, and without first hand experience of knowing where to stay, we had a look on the net and took this hotel booked for us by the excellent Trailfinders, which was one of their options. LOCATION The Century Plaza is pretty much was the heart of the shopping and eating area of downtown on Burrard Street and so is ideally placed for the tourist. This end of Burrard Street had several restaurants and coffee shops, as well as a Market Place supermarket which had lots of excellent foodstuffs as well as a café which serves nice paninis. Just a short walk to the north was Robson Street, which had lots of shops such as Gap & Banana Republic, and a lot of Asian restaurants. Not Much Sleep To Be Had at The Comfort Inn London

Advantages: It's relatively cheap to stay in the room, so it's not all too bad.
Disadvantages: The staff, the prices in the restaurant, I know it's London, but I was shocked

Here is the review: When we decided to book our trip to New York for my 18th we knew the only way to really get to London, was by National Express. Only one of us drives and that person doesn?t feel safe on motorways. The National Express journey was terrible, but when we booked the package, we also booked a hotel called Comfort Inn. We were quite shocked when we were dropped outside of Terminal 5, to then have to wait about 20 minutes for another bus to get to the hotel. I myself was quite shocked to find that the trip took about 20 minutes to get to the Comfort Inn; I thought it would have been on the doorstep of Heathrow, but apparently I was very naive in this aspect. I truthfully thought that when we got to the airport, we?d drag our suitcases around the corner and then ta da, we?ll be at the hotel. This is my own fault ...

Review of Comfort Inn Heathrow, London

No 'Hip Hip Ouray' for the Comfort Inn

Advantages: Good rooms, well furnished and clean
Disadvantages: Service is poor and very very slow

Earlier this year we took a trip around the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, booking up cheap hotels and testing just what you could get in the price range of £25-40 a night. Our fourth night away saw us return to the tiny town of Ouray where we had stayed just a couple of nights earlier in another budget hotel called the Ouray Chalet Inn. Of the five budget hotels we used on our trip, the Comfort Inn had one of the better rooms but unquestionably the worst service. Since we'd spent time in Ouray already we had no problems finding the hotel, tucked away on a side street in the middle of the town. On our first trip to Ouray we'd arrived from the north along very good roads but this time we came in from the south along the terrifying 'Million Dollar Highway' - a 25 mile route winding through the mountains between Silverton and Ouray ...
