Comfort Inn and Suites Northgate Airport, Brisbane

Advantages: Proximity to Heathrow Airport, comfortable rooms, value for money

...This Le Meridien Hotel at Heathrow Airport has actually had a name change and is now the Park Inn. From my understanding, this is the first Park Inn hotel in the UK. The standards are equally good to those at Le Meridien Hotels. In fact, I stayed at this hotel, both before and after the changeover and other than obvious changes to names, logos, uniforms, etc, I didn’t notice any difference. The hotel is located at the entrance to Heathrow Airport. If you know Heathrow well, then the hotel is on the left hand side as you approach the roundabout, which has the model of Concorde at the centre of it. This makes the hotel really easy to get to. ...Holiday Inn Express at Glasgow Airport. Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel 3 weeks before hand and got a great rate of £55 for one night including full breakfast.We got the free airport bus from buchan bus station which takes to outside the main terminal at the airport .When we arrived we were amazed at how close it was actually to the main terminal of Glasgow Airport less than 2 minutes which was very handy for our morning departure.We checked in around 1630 and were told in detail the facility's , restaurant opening times , breakfast times and all check out details by two friendly staff receptionists one lady also helped us with the masses of luggage we had to the room. We were surprised with the quality of the hotel with it just being a budget hotel the entrance to the hotel resembles the same look in decor as any 4 or 5 star... Read review

Advantages: Very close to the airport, good customer service

...minutes later on a tray lined with a napkin, silver cutlery and plenty of mayonnaise and was actually really tasty! (I needed comfort food!) The staff: I found all the employees to be polite and helpful and the reception staff were smartly dressed in dark suits. Other facilities: There was a Complimentary Offsite Fitness Facility but I didn't venture to this as a prefer hotels to have gyms onsite. A swimming pool would have been appreciated though. Room rates Obviously I wasn't paying but I did check out the rates. Booking directly with the Holiday Inn you can expect to pay £120! Or you could shop around and pay around £60. The bottom line: A fine hotel, perfect for an overnight stay to catch that early flight... Read review
