Advantages: Clean and spacious apartments. Disadvantages: Too noisy and packed around the hotel area especially around the pool.

I wouldn't stay here again, although my two boys liked the company of other children, but I just thought it was too loud and noisy in the day and in the evening. There were, also, some complaints from other people that there were too many teenagers messing around and being a nuisance in the evening times when the cabaret was usually on. Also, there are in high season lots of young groups of boys and girls (ages of 17 - 21) on holiday on their own staying at this hotel, because it is within a ten minute walk to the noisy resort of Playa d'las Americas. It does get quiet after around 1am around the hotel area, as the entertainment finishes and the management were strict on keeping the noise down.
The hotel did have a kids club and some entertainment and competitions for the adults throughout the day, which was very good.
We booked this as a package deal with Thomas Cook Holidays and we paid for a two bed apartment for two adults and two children £1885.
I didn't like Playa d' las Americas much but the torviscas and fanabe area were lovely. Some people hire a car to get around, but to be honest if you like walking then ten minutes walk to some areas of the resort is pleasant on an nice summers' evening and afterwards we always got a taxi back to the hotel. Plenty of live entertainment everywhere.
I would go back to Tenerife, but not to this particular hotel. I would prefer somewhere more quieter next time.
Advantages: cheap good area and close to beach Disadvantages: not great entertainment rooms satisfactory

compostela Beach resort
I found this a nice clean place and are rooms were satisfactory we didnt have no tv or air conditioning which would of come in handy. As we stayed there for two weeks i did find that though we had are beds and towels changed regulary they didnt seem to sweep the floors so by the end of the two weeks it got a bit messy, they didnt supply a dustpan or brush so you would do it your self. The pool was great ... ...sun bed as there was lots left but this may be due to we went at the beginning of september, the pool was always clean. Just a note if you are taking children who cant swim there is no lifegards around the pool.
Entertainment and food
The food was good they served a good selection for breakfast, dinner and tea at a low cost and the service was good. Drinks were very cheap. The evening entertainment was good but the same group off people sang the ...
