This is a small island but with lots to do and see. With the main attraction being mount tedie. This is something that is well worth going to see and spending a day doing. It cost us about £15 per adult to go to the peek of tedie, worth taking warmer clothes as it gets rather cold and very wind (ladys don't wear a skirt) as i found out they fly away. Other places to visit which are good for shopping are Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz. There are many other attractions and water parks to visit.
compostela Beach resort
I found this a nice clean place and are rooms were satisfactory we didnt have no tv or air conditioning which would of come in handy. As we stayed there for two weeks i did find that though we had are beds and towels changed regulary they didnt seem to sweep the floors so by the end of the two weeks it got a bit messy, they didnt supply a dustpan or brush so you would do it your self. The pool was great as we didnt have to rush down to get a sun bed as there was lots left but this may be due to we went at the beginning of september, the pool was always clean. Just a note if you are taking children who cant swim there is no lifegards around the pool.
Entertainment and food
The food was good they served a good selection for breakfast, dinner and tea at a low cost and the service was good. Drinks were very cheap. The evening entertainment was good but the same group off people sang the same songs for the whole two weeks that we were there so it did be come a little boring.
The cost of this two weeks holiday with thomas cook came to £900 for two adults that included flights, transfers, the hotel and insuranses.
