Cremorne, just a few minutes' drive north of Sydney's city centre. It is the perfect base for those who prefer to be just outside the hustle and bustle of Sydney, yet close enough to enjoy its many attractions. The Park Regis Concierge self-contained studios and apartments offer impressive views across the city and harbour. Enjoy a home cooked meal or dine at the recently refurbished restaurant and bar, complete with pool hall and gaming room, located next to the hotel. The hotel's city fringe location also gives visitors numerous sightseeing and entertainment options on the North Shore. Visit Taronga Zoo, take a swim at Balmoral or Manly Beach or stroll to picturesque Cremorne Point where you can take a ferry to the city or Mosman Bay. A bus stop is also located just outside the hotel, providing easy access to the city and nearby beaches.
Advantages: Clean, excellent service, near to city centre. Disadvantages: Near very noisy pub, not a great view from apartment.
...Having read reviews of this hotel and having read the higher you were the quieter it was we requested a room above the 22nd floor, they accommodated us on the 23rd but this was not high enough to get away from a very noisy bar that on Friday and Saturday did karaoke and played music at a ridiculous volume until the early hours. If you want to sleep you need to be a lot higher up to get away from the noise of the bar, traffic and monorail. The only other minor fault with the Meriton is we were in a one bedroom apartment but they had placed the beds so that you couldn't close the bedroom door.
The location of the hotel was in the centre of the shopping district and to get to the major attractions of Sydney it was a 20-40 minute walk.
The facilities in the apartment were excellent and its was very clean with a daily maid service...

...My next review is on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is perhaps one of the most iconic monuments in Sydney, if not the whole of Australia. The Bridge is the main thing that stands out when you first arrive in Sydney, its like their gateway into and out of the City, and with its sheer size, its something that people should take the time to look at up close and personal.
History:
The bridge has a long history, original plans to create the bridge started in the late 1890?s however construction didn?t actually start until the mid 1920?s. The bridge?s total length is a mammoth 1149 metres (3,770 ft), and according to the World Records book the bridge has the tallest arch steel frame measuring 134 meters (429.6 ft)
The bridge is accessible by many modes on transport which include, train, car toll, and walking. The bridge connects two main...

Advantages: Nice pool, pleasanr helpful staff, appartment very clean Disadvantages: Bathroom stunk of drains, kitchen antiquated, no kettle, toaster or hairdryer
...in the car and go and explore for a while.
SUNSHINE MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK GOOD:
We made our way up to the pool area and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of big pools, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas, a couple of quiet bars and a restaurant. It all looked quiet, sunny and inviting. We sat down and enjoyed an iced tea and toasted sandwiches. We had been up since 2am and I had only had a cup of coffee and water so I was quite hungry by now. The waiter was lovely and the food was fine. We were getting quite positive vibes and when we went back to reception they said our apartment was ready we were almost on a high.
MAYBE I SPOKE TOO SOON:
We drove around to near our apartment and went up to the top floor, no lift but we are quite fit so that is not a great problem. We struggled with the old key in the lock and eventually got in. It...
