He actually was not initially going to try out for the television talent show, he was at the auditions to support his brother but, after some pushing from his brother, decided to audition too. A good decision, because he became the winner of the seventh season of American Idol in 2008.
David Cook is classified as a Rock, singer-songwriter. His sound is definitely very rocky, but in my opinion quite soft rock. He has a very deep, raspy voice that lends itself very well to this type of music. This is a great item to buy as a present or even for yourself. I bought this for a present for Mrs B and she loves it. I wasn't sure at first as to what she'd think of it but I thought it would come in useful as she was always jotting down recipes from the tv or offline or what people told her and then losing them or moaning that they got torn/stained so I thought this would br an ideal place for her to store the recipes.

Although I do try to moderate the amount of television that my two young daughters watch, there are some programmes that I have to admit are really rather good and definitely worth switching on for. One such programme is Big Cook Little Cook which is shown most days at various times on the cbeebies channel. This really is an excellent programme that is sure to get children interested in cooking - which in these fast food times can only be a good thing!
There are two cooks on this programme - unsurprisingly they are Big Cook and Little Cook - who run their own cafe. Big Cook Ben (played by Stephen Marsh) is a full sized person whereas Little Cook Small (Daniel Wright) is no bigger than a mixing spoon!
