The Marriott Experience (Copenhagen)
Advantages: A pleasant place to stay whilst visiting the beautiful Disadvantages: Cost
...going to stay in a Marriott hotel, I just trusted his judgement and focused all my excitement on what we were going to do once we got to Copenhagen.
The Copenhagen Marriott (has 5 stars)
********************************************
The hotel has 11 floors and over 300 rooms. (I think we were on the 3rd floor - not that it would matter as there are lifts!) It also has a number of suites. (Unfortunately we just stayed in a standard room with 2 double ... ...I have been on the Marriott hotel website and found out some room rates. On the Square
Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant Disadvantages: A bit anonymous
The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. A short walk from the Central Station it is very handy for transfers from the airport and provides an excellent base for touring the city.
Part of the ARP-Hansen Hotel Group it is one of several hotels in Copenhagen and like their other properties offers a good standard of accommodation geared towards the modern business or tourist ... ...is somewhat misleading. Granted, from the top (6th) floor you can see the giant Tivoli sign but that's about it. There aren't really any other views available as it isn't in the prettiest part of town. A few minutes from the station it occupies a large portion of an unprepossessing retail/office building on the corner of HC Anderson Boulevard and Jernbanegade. This is not the most attractive part of town and the local streets are full of over spilling ...

Simply Superb
Advantages: Friendly; nice rooms; breakfast; location Disadvantages: Location (if you like being in the city centre)
...the strangest name for a hotel I've come across; the Kong Arthur, we read before arriving, was a knights-of-the-round-table-themed hotel ('Kong' being Danish for 'King' which naturally got me wondering if King Kong was released in Denamrk as Kong Kong). I have to say right from the start that this wasn't the reason for our staying - I hadn't planned to don any armour and have Mel play the maiden in distress, and from the photos on the website the ... ...minutes further on.
The hotel itself is tucked down an alley, and looks quite small at first glance. Walking into the airy reception area it feels lovely and modern, and here we find the only real King Arthur motifs - a suit of armour against a wall; some shields along the same wall; and the key fob for our room being a huge metal disc of the round table.
Right from the off we were made to feel at ease. It was March, so not really into tourist ...

Phoenix hotel, Copenhagen
Advantages: 4 star luxary, excellent breakfest, cheap deals if booked early Disadvantages: smallish sized room
So here we are traveling the globe and the Scandinavian is without doubt the most expensive for hostels and we were really struggling to find a hostel in central Copenhagen until my girlfriend stumbled upon this excellent hotel which worked out to be only a couple of pounds more expensive then the hostels in the area - but this one has of course a four star luxury status!
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and of course ... ...airport. We made the short journey and located the street that the hostel was on easily. The hotel stood out on this quiet street as we arrived at 9pm and there was no one walking the streets and only one building as lit up - this was the phoenix.
The hotel entrance is grand with a water feature in the middle of reception and its have loads of old paintings hanging on the walls. we were greeted on reception by an extremely helpful guy who spoke ...

Perfect for a sightseeing trip to Copenhagen
Advantages: good location, very nice rooms, friendly staff Disadvantages: nothing
...we found this one, the Savoy Copenhagen. We paid for one night 105 Euro (88 GBP), not much compared to other hotels in Copenhagen.
The Savoy Copenhagen is located in the Vesterbrogade 34 in 1620 Copenhagen. The hotel´s website can be found here: http://www.savoyhotel.dk/ . It has three stars.
The hotel is just a short walk away from the railway station. So when we came from the airport, we just had to fetch a train to the railway station (took ... ...300 meters to reach the Savoy hotel. Also all sights of Copenhagen can be reached by feet from the hotel, but the way to the Little Mermaid can become a qiet far walk through the city (on the way you pass all the sights like the Tivoli, Nyhavn etc.). If you want to get to the Mermaid faster, you can fetch a bus right from the hotel to her.
Around the hotel are a lot of shopping opportunities, there is everything - supermarkets, post office and several ...
