On the Square

Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant
Disadvantages: A bit anonymous

The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. Simply Superb

Advantages: Friendly; nice rooms; breakfast; location
Disadvantages: Location (if you like being in the city centre)

Phoenix hotel, Copenhagen

Advantages: 4 star luxary, excellent breakfest, cheap deals if booked early
Disadvantages: smallish sized room

So here we are traveling the globe and the Scandinavian is without doubt the most expensive for hostels and we were really struggling to find a hostel in central Copenhagen until my girlfriend stumbled upon this excellent hotel which worked out to be only a couple of pounds more expensive then the hostels in the area - but this one has of course a four star luxury status! Perfect for a sightseeing trip to Copenhagen

Advantages: good location, very nice rooms, friendly staff
