Advantages: lots of shops, good security,parking,food Disadvantages: the centre is full with people at Christmas and it is hard to get a parking space.
MerryHill shopping centre (Brierly Hill in West Midlands) is a must for everybody that likes shopping! It has all the shops you could possibly desire under one roof, ranging from department stores ( Marks and Spencers , Debenhams,BHS) to supermarkets, clothes shops,health stores you name it it will have it!
Shops are clearly signposted and there are maps located around the centre. There are many security guards around, so no need to worry about pick pocketing.
For parents MerryHill has a creche called Snappers, It looks really enticing from the outside with ball pits, slides and climbing frames.
Parking at MerryHill is free and the centre has electronic signs telling you if there are spaces in the car parks, which i find very helpful. There are also spaces for the disabled and designated areas for people with young children who ...

Advantages: all under one roof Disadvantages: poor public transport links ,poor range of shops ,disappointing
MerryHill is not actually in Birmingham its near Cradley heath and Dudley If you havent got a car forget it the public transport links are simply awful!Its not worth the hassle of getting up there because when you do its a very medicore shopping centre. Its really just full of shops that decamped up there from Dudley town centre. It's full of your usual high St stores and not alot else really! As shopping centres go this one is not in the same league as say Meadow Hall or the newer Trafford centre. I would not recommend you travelling a great distance to it as you'll be very disappointed. It's ok if you live in Brum and dont have to travel so far to it! ...
