There is plenty of parking and we managed to park practically on the beach every day, we arrived about 10am and holidayed mid September.
Value for money - I found the food and drink at the beach bar expensive although the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One portion of chips was 3 euro, a can of drink 2euro 50, a pizza 6 euro. We took some food and drink to the beach with us every day. We paid for sun beds, they were 2euro 50 for each bed and the same for an umbrella so it cost us 7euro 50 a day for two beds and an umbrella, our children are 2 and 4 so they shared ours :-)
Sightseeing - There is not an awful lot to see in the area except the beach but that's what we went for so we were happy with this.
Cleanliness - this was the only minus point for us, there were a lot of cigarette ends and the beach didn't appear to be ploughed regularly like the one we often visit in Spain, it was clean apart from this but they could do better on this point, supplying ashtrays might also help cut this down.
Shopping and Nightlife. The shops in Coral Bay itself are basic but adequate, the supermarkets aren't cheap but aren't grossly expensive either. Advantages: The sea is a clean clear blue and the weather is fantastic. Disadvantages: None
Coral Bay is a beautiful place to visit. The sea is clean and a clear blue.
When I was there in June 2005, I stayed in my apartment which is situated only down the road from Coral Bay in a small place called Peiya. Every day we drove into Coral Bay which took only five minutes. There are lots of water sports available on the beach, such as para-gliding, scuba diving, glass boat trips (which is a must), jet skis, banana rides, water skis, speed boat ... ...very polite and generous.
Coral Bay, also, have a few shops which do come in handy too, especially the supermarket. It is not a place for night life. It mostly caters for families and couples and is generally a quiet place to stay. Generally, I like a quiet and relaxing holiday and that is what this holiday was.
There is transport in the form of a bus but this only runs in the day time. I would recommend hiring a car so that you can get around ...

Advantages: Very laid back, relaxing, clean beach, good choice of resturants Disadvantages: Can be too quiet for young people!
Coral Bay in Cyprus is one of my favourite places in the world. It is the perfect place to go to relax and unwind and you are pretty much guaranteed sunshine. Even now in January the sun is shining and it is 19C! It is a 30-40 minute drive from Paphos airport and very easy to get to, even for a first timer in Cyprus! All the road signs are in English and they also drive on the left like us. Coral Bay is mainly centered along a main strip of bars, ... ...more laid back feel to Coral Bay than other resorts in Cyprus and even on a weekend night it doesn't feel to crowded. My favourite resturant is the Seriani, the quality is superb and the portions are huge! If you want a drink in the evening Kikos bar is also a place I would recomend. The choice of drinks is extensive and you always get fantastic service.
If you wish to do some sightseeing Coral Bay is the perfect base to do so. To the west is the ...

...spent two glorious weeks in Coral Beach hotel, Coral Bay, over Christmas and New Year. The scenery is breath taking, the people are very friendly and welcoming we felt like we should have made this our second honeymoon. They made us feel like Gods and Goddesses. The food is wonderful especially if you visit a taverna where the choice of food will exceed your imagination and taste buds. The 'British' food is equally good - home-from-home breakfast ... ...visit to my plate more than once. A trip into the Troodos Mountains is well worth the journey and will not disappoint. Imagine this: snow skiing in the morning before driving to the coast for a sun kissed swim after lunch, fantastic. We are going back without any hesitation whatsoever. ...

Advantages: Fairly cheap villa holiday during the winter to a warmer climate, near centre of Coral Bay Disadvantages: Villas closer together than we had anticipated, pool in front garden, not fantastically well maintained
-top order.
Villa holidays are touted as 'home from home'. None of the villas I have stayed in are as well maintained as I would expect anyone's home to be!
It may only be little things, like the fixings for the showers and towel rails being loose or no longer fixed to the wall at all, but it should be simple enough to have someone fix these niggling things as soon as they occur so that these niggles are not there to impair peoples' enjoyment of staying in the villas.
The situation of these villas is well described in the 'blurb' on the James Villa internet site. They are just behind the main street of CoralBay, and within a short walk of both of the bays in CoralBay. You don't need a hire car, unless, like us, you want to explore more of Cyprus. ...

In May 2001, We booked a holiday with Libra over Christmas and New Year at the Laura Beach hotel in CoralBay, Cyprus, and we had been eagerly looking forward to it. However, thanks to Libra we didn't get it, or indeed a holiday approaching anything remotely like it.
Instead, Libra:
Altered our flight times at the last minute causing us considerable extra expense and inconvenience, as we arrived back home a day later than we should have, and had to take an extra day off work.
Told our travel agent we had no right to cancel at that point, and that we would lose all the money we had paid, when as we later discovered, we had every right to cancel at that point and get our money back because of the inconvenience which had been caused to us by their last minute flight changes.
Deceived us into travelling to our holiday ...

Really good place to go i went in july to august and it was really hot but my parents went in october and they said it was actually warmer than what the august was. Really friendly place to go the restaurant have all got nice food and there is nice bars and clubs the buses only cost 50 pence and its only a short drive to coralbay. Paphos is definetly the best place in the whole of cyprus iv been everywhere there and its by far the best. Limmisol was the worst. Nicosia was like a big shooping centre not a place to go on holidays and latchi was in the middle of nowhere with nothing around and protaras was ok but out of them all i prefer phapos its definetly value for money. ...
