Advantages: Fantastic rooms, friendly staff, great location Disadvantages: some of the other guests seem to think their a bit special!
I've stayed at this hotel twice now, once when i was 10 with my mum and dad and once when i was 20 with my boyfriend, both times i've had a fantastic time and the only negative thing being other guests there, but we'll get to that later in the review!

The hotel has 173 rooms, this is made up of 93 standard rooms which are the cheapest and have either twin or a kingsize bed, an ensuite bathroom usually with a bath and a shower. A kettle and small sachets of tea coffe, milk etc and some very delicious biscuits! A mini bar (as with most hotels this is a little on the pricey side e.g £1.20 for a mars bar!!!!) a safe, an ironing board and hairdryer, a phone, internet access and Sky TV and the usual pre pay movies as well as pre pay games for the playstion. We stayed at the Ascos Coral beach Hotel ,Cyprus, in June 2009. The hotel, during the summer months is for adults only,which if your are on a relaxing holiday makes a big difference. Once you enter the hotel you can notice straight away that there are no children running around, its very peaceful. The hotel is around half an hour drive from the airport at Paphos. It is located on the coast and has a pathway down to a shingle beach which to be honest we did not use as it was a bit awkward to walk along. The shops, not many mind, and the bars are about a five minutes walk. If you want to go to the coral bay beach it would take you around 15 minutes to walk there at the most, and to drive there it would take around 1 minute. The beach does have the usual amenities like being pulled by a speed boat and pedalos.

Cyprus is an island in the southern mediterean, just off the Egyptian coast, being divided into touristy Greek Cyprus and Turkish Cyprus (which is mostly a military base). I went to Cyprus on a cycling holiday and it was an absolute nightmare to get the bikes, we waited 45 minutes after everyone else had left the new (but very barren and not very comfortable) arrival lounge. The bikes eventually appeared to fell off the plane, as we found later in the holiday that they arrived with various damage. Larnaca is the location of the main airport in Cyprus, located close to the party town of Ayia Napa but 90 minute slow bus ride away from the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, Paphos.
