Coral Beach Hotel

Advantages: Grea hotel, beautiful pools, highly recommend
Disadvantages: probably packed during peak season?

Cyprus is an island in the southern mediterean, just off the Egyptian coast, being divided into touristy Greek Cyprus and Turkish Cyprus (which is mostly a military base). I went to Cyprus on a cycling holiday and it was an absolute nightmare to get the bikes, we waited 45 minutes after everyone else had left the new (but very barren and not very comfortable) arrival lounge. The bikes eventually appeared to fell off the plane, as we found later in the holiday that they arrived with various damage. Larnaca is the location of the main airport in Cyprus, located close to the party town of Ayia Napa but 90 minute slow bus ride away from the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort, Paphos. The country appears to be very dusty, sparse in population except for the large hotel resorts and the ubiquitous half built villa's that seem to be found ...

Amari Coral Beach Resort - Phuket

Advantages: Private Beach, Helpful Staff
Disadvantages: Number of steps within complex

I don't know where to start with this hotel. I have stayed here on 2 seperate occassions and both times were just perfect. My most recent stay was in August 07, and this was the hotel I choose to have my wedding. The hotel staff were just brilliant throughout the whole stay. They looked after me and the 20 other guests invited. On arrival we were all offered a welcome drink and cold towels. When my partner and I checked we were told we had an upgrade to a suite. The room was amazing! It had a large living area and bedroom seperated by a large TV. The bathroom had a standalone bathtube and walk in shower. The room even had 2 toilets. The room also had a large balcony which looked straight onto the hotels private beach. The hotel has 2 restaurants, the main open air restaurant , serving various themed buffet dinners (seafood ...

Coral Sea Resort Sharm

Advantages: To many to list
Disadvantages: Very large complex

I too enjoyed my stay at the Coral Sea Resort. It is spotlessly clean, the food is well cooked and plentiful and the staff are as helpful as it is possible to be. The size if the complex seemed to be a little off putting for some guests, I can understand this, the first time i stayed there I spent more time looking for my room than actually sleeping in it. Anything you require will duely arrive, within reason of course, customer care at the Coral is paramount, and all the staff are exceptionally polite and happy to help. There is plenty to do in the area, Naama bay is close by, Hard Rock Cafe, MacDonalds, and lots of choice of local cuisine. For the hardy I would recommend Pirates bar, quite often it is full of us underwater types and is a great night out. The Red Sea Dive School is a great place and suitable for those wanting to learn ...
