Corallia Beach Hotel Apartments, Paphos

Advantages: Sunshine, interesting history, friendly people, good food.
Disadvantages: Not a beach resort.

...My wife and I, now in our early sixties, have had holidays in Paphos on four occasions over the last 8 years, always in late February or early March. At this time of year the weather is usually pleasantly warm, around the high 60s to low 70s fahrenheit with plenty of sunshine, although odd rainy days can intervene. We prefer to stay in a self-catering establishment because Paphos is full of nice restaurants of varying types and it seems to us a pity to to be tied to your hotel for all your meals. The last two years we have stayed at the Damon Apartments - there is quite a fair description of this establishment in the Virgin Sun brochure. The rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable and the staff are efficient and friendly. The sound-proofing of the rooms is not that good - this was not a great problem at the time of year we... ...allocated hotel on arrival, paid for a 4* hotel in Cyprus - Paphos HB. The hotel we were allocated was 15-20 min drive to paphos, small town called kalrikas Laura beach hotel. The hotel was an all inclusive (basically a free for all) no plates or cutlery on the table, no waiters, food on the floor not what i call 4* we had to change rooms as our room was so dirty. called the rep who told me she was handing her notice in that day not interrested we asked to move hotel and in paphos but was asked to pay and additional £1,300 even though we had already paid the basic for four adults! Staff based in uk very unhelpful!! No customer care at all, website is dreadfull no information for customer relations email or contact number......never again!!!... Read review

...Originally I'm from Cyprus and I am very proud of that. I feel very lucky because I lived there most the years of my life. (in Paphos, in a village that is called Armou that is on a hill and from up there you can see nice view and all paphos town and the sea!) Paphos have everything you need to take your holidays (if you are seeknig to have a holiday somewhere in Europe) and it's also very good place so stay (if you are planning to move in Cyp forever!) The weather is wonderful, especially during the summer, the sun, the beach everything! You can enjoy your night in Kato Paphos visiting a variety or taverns, restaurants, the castle, clubs, bars, cafes and meet new people. The hotels are all very nice with good prices. But if you are considering to move in Cyprus-Paphos, you will find it a bit expensive to get a house and start your... Read review
