Great all round holiday for all ages.
Advantages: Great prices, great atmosphere, Very friendly people Disadvantages: Narrow beach
Set about 20 minutes drive south of the airport on the East coast of the Island this village really is great for all ages. With a main road filled with shops, boutiques, cafes, bars, and restaurants, which is only about 300metres from the beach. With a range of Hotels, apartments and villas near-by. BEACH
The East coast is a mixture of shingle and sandy beaches. Here in Moraitika there is both although the beach is long but narrow so mid season ... ...are not free and cost about 6Euro per day for 2beds and a parasol. Along the beach is a lovely walk (with shade along much of the path) where you will pass many restaurants, bars cafes, water slides for children, an arcade, a play park, and Peddlos. The water is lovely and clean and is very shallow. You could walk out 20m and still be waist deep which is very reassuring when you have small children, plenty of paddling space for bat and ball etc. ...

Blue Bay
Advantages: Coming Home Disadvantages: Being there for 2 whole weeks.
Have just got back from two weeks at the Blue Bay. Would NEVER go there again.
Food bland, boring and recycled. Hardly any drinks included in the price.
Entertainment????? What a joke, there is none.
First choice reps may have well not come in to work, and when they were about you had to join a queue of customers waiting to complain.
In the middle of nowhere but the mossies still found us.
Only saving grace, nice gardens and pool, and views of ...

Arilas
Advantages: good ouzo Disadvantages: night life
Arilas Corfu. Very small, friendly resort and the locals are very friendly. The town itself is about 1 1/2 hrs from Airport. And its up in the mountains views superb Only about 8 hotels here but they are all very nice. The Kaloudis apartments are run by family concern. Billy and George and there family very welcoming and very clean resort. A walk down the drive way and you are on the beach. The Portofino Restaurant is absolutely spot on for food ... ...The coconut bar is also run by brothers very welcoming too. Night life is very quiet but nice. Karoke in bars, not for the younger person looking for nightlife like Kavos. Suitable for singleparents i felt very safe there. And have been back 4yrs running. Excellent times had there. ...

My family first went to kassiopi 30 years ago and fell in love with the place i first went 20 yrs ago when i was 6 years old it was wonderful i loved it so much i returned for 3 more holidays and then when i turned 10 my family still returned i had to stay home due to school commitments. Every year id look at photos and long to go and see if my memory of the place was still the same then 10 years later and i was 20 i returned to kassiopi with my ... ...a little not to much nightlife, there are lovely places to eat im a fuzzy eater but the food is to die for, and the people are just so friendly once u see them once you become there family and they never forget when i returned after 10 years people still knew who i was a great place to get away from it all. Kalami- Corfu
Advantages: Amazing, relazing, beautiful. Disadvantages: Some parts are very chavvy and "english"
...this beautiful little town called Kalami, and when my mum found there was an apartement where Gerald Durrell had stayed when he was writing his book, she booked it straight away. And so off we went. We flew from Manchester airport with MyTravel, the flight took around 3 hours and so we had a film on and got a meal on the flight so the time went very quickly. Upon arriving in Corfu, the heat hit us as soon as we stepped off the plane, it was the first ... ...cares.....! Back in Kalami, its the prefect relaxation spot, there are pools which you are welcome to use, and also the sea is literally a 2-5 minute walk from every apartment in Kalami. The beach isn't sand, but a pebbled beach, so you will need something like jelly shoes for in the sea!! One thing I will say is there is pretty much no nightlife, no clubs in sight, you will have to go to Sidari and the likes for that, but that means the place is ...
