I went on holiday to Sidari Corfu last August with a friend and had a fabulous time. You can guaruntee that there is something for everybody, whether it be nightlcubs for the youths, traditional greek plate smashing or just lots of nice scenery for those who appreciate it. I stayed in a self catering appartment which was useful, it had a shower, bed, kitchen, all the basics which is all you need if your the type of person who hates staying in when your on holiday. We would get up at around 8 am, have a shower and some breakfast, then drive down to dassia around the mountains near the coast and sit on dassia's pebbly beach. Then at noon, we would eat some food that is simple like a burger and chips. Then we would have fun in the sea and sunbathe and then drive home for around 3pm. At 3pm then we would have an hours rest before hitting the shops, then, returning at around 5.30pm we would get tarted up and go to Memories Restaurant on the main street in sidari and true a new greek dish every night and finish it off with an icecream or desert of somekind. Then, if we felt that it was still nice we would go to a club, have a couple of coctails and have a bit of a laugh or do kareoke before going back home to sleep. Also, whislt in sidari, corfu you may see alot of signs to visit corfu's biggest waterpark, "aqualand" with slides of upto 75ft high this is a holiday and day to remember. You can also buy aqualand t-shirts for the equivalent of about 2-3 english pounds. The advantages of this holiday is that it is very cheap, and things like handbags and expensive perfumes are extremely cheap. The cons may be sometimes there is a bit of rain but we had it mainly on the night and you shouldn't let it be a downer on your holiday and the mosquito's. Tips for visitors: Go to the local supermarket and buy some scented candles and mosquito cream for those nasty little creatures. :)

Corfu's OK, though I've been to better places. I remember the roads being awful. Richard aka Beaker

This review really needs to be in the Sidar category on ciao so it needs to be moved to http://travel.ciao.co.uk/Sidari_Corfu__6238694. If you place the review into paragraphs and leave a space between your paragraphs you will find it makes the review easier to read for those with dyslexia and also gives a nice presentation of the review. Hope you don't mind the tip. Fionaxx
