Corfu. I gorgeous Island with more resturants then you could possibly hope for.
There is literally a resturants of some description on every corner and each has it's own special flavour. It has to be said that the food types don't vary much from place to place but all the food is good, tasty and cheap. In fact it is easy for a family of 4 to all have full meals and drinks for less than £15. ( the drinks including wine). With this kind of value it isn't hard to understand why so many people who visit Corfu are more then happy to stay on a Room Only basis.
the food available is all fresh, one of our meals was brought out of the sea right before our eyes before being taken straight to the kitchen to be cooked. The waiters all speak good English and seem more then happy to decribe meals and specials to their sometimes clueless costumers.
Corfu is a brilliant place, and well worth a visit.
